David V. Bowersock

Died Thursday morning, November 4, 2010. David was born June 10, 1948 in Bay City, Michigan a son of Stanley and Violet (Pfundt) Bower-sock. During the Vietnam War, he served with the U.S. Army HHC 20th Engineering Brigade. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 26 years, coming from Bay City, MI. He was employed with General Motors for over 30 years before retiring. David was preceded in death by his parents. On April 24, 1971, he was united in marriage to Judith A. (Burke) Bowersock who survives. Also surviving, a daughter, Erin (Kurt) Passehl of Evanston, IL; a sister, Janice (Ken) Crane of Bridegport, MI; two brothers, Gary (Margaret) Bowersock and Richard Bowersock all of Bay City, MI; several aunts, uncles and cousins; a nephew; six nieces; and many friends. Graveside services will be held 1 o'clock Tuesday in Fort Custer National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. There will be no visitation.
