Norris Larthridge, Jr.

Antioch BC Cemetery

Funeral services for Norris Larthridge Jr. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. F.F. Jim McCutchens officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home. Mr. Larthridge died Saturday, July 7, 2007. He was born May 21, 1945, in Marion County to Norris Larthridge Sr. and Irene Mathis Larthridge Brown. Mr. Larthridge was an educator and coach for the Waskom Independent School District for more than 25 years. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Karnack. Survivors include her wife, Hopie Nell Larthridge; three daughters, Crystal Larthridge of Grand Prairie, Keva Larthridge-Mack of Frisco, and Hermione Shackleford of Grand Prairie; two grandchildren; six sisters; one brother; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel. Peoples Funeral Home
