William John “Bill” Watson, Jr.
William John “Bill” Watson, Jr., 68, husband of Nancy Phillips Watson, of
Walhalla died Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital,
Greenville, SC.
Born
in of Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of the late William John Watson, Sr.
and Barbara Deberry Watson Justus. Mr. Watson was a veteran of the United States
Army having served in Vietnam. He was retired from Duke Power as a Civil
Engineer and was a contractor with Allied Technical. He was a member of the
South Carolina Jaycees, American Legion Post 124, the Vietnam Veterans
Association and was a member of St. Luke Methodist Church.
In
addition to his wife, Mr. Watson is survived by son, David Watson and wife
Tonia, two granddaughters, Rebeka Glenn, and Emily Watson, sister, Donna Justus
Morris and husband Eddie, of Vero Beach, FL.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 31, 2012 at St.
Luke Methodist Church with burial in Oconee Memorial Park.
The
family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Monday, December 31, 2012
prior to the service at St. Luke Methodist Church.
